About eCampus
UConn eCampus is the gateway for all online undergraduate and graduate courses, post baccalaureate certificates, graduate certificates, and graduate programs at the University of Connecticut.
eCampus supported courses are designed to meet research based standards providing opportunities for student engagement, active learning, faculty involvement, and authentic assessment. UConn faculty choose from a wide range of software applications and teaching techniques to engage with students in asynchronous, synchronous and mixed online learning environments customized to the unique needs of the course, program, school or college, and student population.
Accreditation & Standards
- The University of Connecticut is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE).
- Support for online programs is provided by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning’s (CETL) eCampus. All courses are designed to meet Quality Matters™ standards.
- Programs developed through CETL’s eCampus are aligned with the Online Learning Consortium’s Quality Framework.
Applying Credits
No distinction is made between credits earned in a UConn on-campus or online program. Your transcript from UConn treats all courses the same; online courses do not have a different designation on your transcript.
